Here's a bunch of pictures from the last month or so...
Random family shots...

Maren did these three pieces of atrwork for her three sets of grandparents. She did them with silkies, which are a really smooth and waxy type of crayon. I thought these were amazing...

Greg & I celebrated our 9th anniversary in Seattle - we got to stay overnight and had a great, relaxing time. We really enjoyed Pike Place market, even in the rain! :)

This was my breakfast on Sunday morning...banana bread french toast...YUMMM!

We were in portland right before my birthday and my sweet Mom had a little party for me. Maren helped decorate (notice the shoes under the cake platter? She did a great job with the contents of the dress-up box!)

Happy birthday to me!

Here I am all decorated for my birthday. Did anyone notice the red sequined suspenders? I'm pretty sure I wore those in the 7th grade marching band....
That same weekend in Portland Greg and I ran in the Race for the Roses. I ran the 10K (6.2 miles) in 1:04. This was a great time for me...especially since I didn't train as I had hoped to! Greg ran the 1/2 Marathon (13.2 miles) in 1:27. Just so you know, this means that he ran 6:43 miles for 13 miles! I'm impressed!!

On my actual birthday the kids brought me cookies while I scrapbooked.

My present is the house we are buying...stay tuned for more on that!!

We went bowling with some friends and the kids LOVED it. It was their first time, and we look forward to going again! In the summer kids can bowl two free games a day!! Can't beat that!

That metal contraption helps the kids aim and get a little momentum going...there are also rails in the gutters so they don't get gutter balls!

The kids got new bikes! They had some money from Christmas that we set aside for this and the time finally came (aka it stopped raining for more than a day). Here they are working hard to put them together.

Joel got this cool Mongoose with hand brakes (and foot brakes...). It looks a little big for him, but he can ride it really well and it will last a long time!
