Pumpkin Patch

We had a couple of beautiful and warm days a couple of weeks ago and decided to go to a pumpkin patch in Nampa. It was not the best pumpkin patch I've ever been to, but it was fun to be outside and to take a hay ride.

They had not cleared the vines at all, so we had to wade through the mess to find the pumpkins!

They required that the kids be able to carry their own pumpkin, so here's the one he chose.

We got out the Hippo and Maren discovered that she loves walking! She will go up and down the hallway as many times as we help her turn it around at either end!

Day Trip

We went to Twin Falls last weekend to look at a couch that we found on craigslist. It was about a 2 hour drive, and then we went to look at this falls. It was pretty amazing, and I guess this isn't even the best time to see it because a lot of the water is diverted to use for irrigation. In the spring the whole rocky area is covered with water and it falls 50 feet further than Niagara Falls!

Maren was sleeping in the car, so we took turns looking at the falls and keeping an eye on her. :)

We finally made it to the Boise Zoo! It is pretty small and they are working on getting some new animals, but it was still fun. We went with some new friends - Ella and Anders and their Mommy Nicky.
