Very Short Hair

I have been in search of the perfect no-fuss hair for some time now. If this one didn't make the cut, I would probably have had to go bald next...good thing I like it!

AFFE

Joel has decided that his favorite animal is a giraffe, so when he got a Build-a-Bear gift certificate for Christmas we went and he picked out this giraffe to "build." We named him Affe, because that is how Joel pronounces giraffe, though since then he has graduated to saying Raffe.
Holding Affe for the first time since he was "stuffed"...so cute!It was too cold and wet for a walk outside so Greg pushed him around in his stroller inside...he couldn't be parted from Affe, though. Happiest in the company of friends.

Christmas Fun

We had a very small and quiet Christmas, but it was fun and Joel has been having a blast with his new stuff. Here are a few pictures of our festivities (Joel with his presents!).
The teepee was a big hit, and he is in there playing with a jar of buttons, which keep him busy for quite a while!Joel is contemplating something very seriously as he sits in his new rocking chair! :)

Olives and more...

It's official, Joel is my son...if there was any question it has been cleared up. The reason I know is because he loves OLIVES!! Joel figured out all by himself that the holes in olives are the perfect size for his fingers...he loves to put them on and eat them off! :)

And here he is with a cream cheese (soy, of course!) goatee. He decided to start eating right from the middle of the toast. Silly boy...
